Kampot Province, Cambodia: Under the Decent Work study on cashew nut and pepper in Kampot Province, the research team conducted in-depth interviews and discussions with individual farmers and associations to comprehensively assess the working conditions provided by industries. The team explored the challenges faced by workers, especially seasonal laborers and women, who often encounter vulnerabilities in such industries. Additionally, the study examined the role of local authorities in safeguarding workers' rights, enforcing labor regulations, and promoting equitable work environments.
